"The Talk." Some of us got one and some didn't. Most parents dead it. Most kids are confused by it. But our culture talks more and more openly about topics related to sex and sexuality. It we don't teach our kids about this, someone else will, and they probably won't be approaching it from a Christian point of view. So, let's get together as parents (and grandparents) and talk about how to talk about sex. Following the Fellowship Dinner on September 16th (see above), around 6:30pm, we will have childcare available here at the church and all parents/grandparents/etc. who would like to learn more on this topic will split off into the youth room for a short teaching and a panel discussion on how to have these hard conversations about sex in general and about gender/sexuality topics that are prevalent in our culture.
