Why Do We Give?

Here at Hope we teach and practice the biblical principle of tithing. A tithe means a tenth. When we tithe, we give 10 % of our income to God. God calls us to be generous as an act of our obedience showing our growing dependence on the Lord as the provider of all we have. At times it may not be possible to give 10%, but it is important in our relationship with the Lord to work towards this goal. And once tithing is achieved, we can prayerfully consider giving above and beyond the tithe as God supplies. Our generosity is carefully stewarded with the goal of advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Hope.

Each year we set specific goals for outreach and missions so that more and more people can be reached with the Gospel.  Thank you for joining us in investing in God's Kingdom priorities!

Our Giving Philosophy

PEOPLE ARE MOST IMPORTANT

Here at Hope people are the focus of everything we do, not money. We want everyone who comes to feel welcome, whether or not you are able to give financially toward our vision.

FINANCIAL GIVING IS FIRST AND FOREMOST ABOUT WORSHIP

Giving is an act of worship between you and God and therefore should not be done out of compulsion or guilt (Rom. 12:1 and 8; 1 Cor. 9:6-8).

GENEROSITY ENABLES US TO ENGAGE IN GOD'S MISSION.

Those who generously contribute to Hope's mission do so for God’s glory and to fulfill our call to advance His Kingdom.
