HPC Missions Committee Statement of Purpose
To encourage the congregation of Hope, through education and information, to be active participants in fulfilling God’s command to make disciples of all people through local and global outreach.

Local & U.S. Missions
- IMGN Life/Choices - A Christ centered ministry serving those facing unplanned pregnancies.
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes - Leading coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Christ and His church.
- Hope Cares—Caring for our neighbors in the Fredericksburg area as needs arise.
- Hope Mission Trip Support - Helping individuals from our congregation traveling on Missions Projects.
- Firewood Ministry - This volunteer-based group from Hope, that collects, splits and delivers firewood to needy families. Service opportunities exist.
- Micah Ecumenical Ministries - Devoted to helping the homeless in our area.
- The Branch - an EPC church plant in our denomination whom we support prayerfully and financially as they make a kingdom impact in Ashland, Virginia.
- Young Life - introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.
- 516 Project - Helping to repair homes and provide disaster relief. Local projects focuson accessible bathrooms and safe access via wheelchair ramps. Service opportunities exist.
International Mission Efforts
- Haiti - Supporting the pastoral leadership in Haiti through financial giving and team trips in partnership with Haiti Outreach Ministries.
- Karbururi, Kenya - Partnering with Food for the Hungry Community to Community program through financial giving and team trips.
- Kare 4 Kenya – Njoro, Kenya – Partnering with a community in need with financial support and team trips from Hope to Kenya.
- EPC World Outreach – Providing prayer, support, care and encouragement for World Outreach staff based around the world.
- Phil Thrash, Missionary Prayer Coordinator
- A sports-based ministry of discipleship and spreading the gospel through cricket teams.
- Rise Against Hunger – Annual Hope food packaging event to be sent to needy communities around the world. Service opportunities exist.
- Latin America Missions - Billy & Yashmin Clark - caring for and empowering vulnerable children in Latin America.
- WaveStarters—Supporting Andrew & Noreen Brunson in their efforts to reach the Muslim World.
- Eric and Annie Pilson - called to Taiwan to reach those who have never named Christ with the Gospel.
- World Evangelism for Christ (WEC) International- The Franchois family - reaching out to those with limited or no access to the good news of Jesus Christ.
- Wycliffe Bible Translators - Steve Walker - making the Bible accessible to all people in the language they understand best.
