2018  VBS Volunteers Registration

July 16th-20th

By filling out this form, you will be registering to volunteer for VBS. Below, you can read about the opportunities. Please prayerfully consider how you may help with this vital and exciting ministry. If you would like more information, please call Melissa,  Director of Children's Ministry at 540-898-4673 x 30. 

How old must you be to volunteer? 
 Students entering into 7th grade in the fall of 2018 through adults are invited to volunteer. 


Bible Storytelling - Storytelling is one of the stations in the daily rotation. Using creative drama and activities, this is where the Bible story for the day is presented. The volunteers set up and lead the daily lessons with the help of the detailed material provided. 

Music - Teach new music w/motions daily and help engage children in worshiping and learning

Crafts - Prepare and lead Crafts for all the children attending VBS

Snacks - Prepare and serve daily traits as directed by leaders. 

Games - Prepare for daily games, lead games, help children that may be struggling, and encourage kids. . 

Explorer Guide - Guides are the glue that holds together the children's experience at VBS. This position is to take the children from station to station and help them have the best experience possible. 


Preschool - Using materials provided, the preschool children will experience their own VBS. 

Nursery - Organize and provide care for children of VBS volunteers who can not attend VBS.
